About The Position

We are seeking an Outbound Sales Development Representative (SDR) to develop and support the sales pipeline through strategic, outbound initiatives across a number of industrial applications. In this role, you will be a critical member of our growing marketing organization, focusing on building strong and mutually beneficial relationships with sales, target prospects, strategic accounts, and partners. As the first line of communication with a prospect, the ideal SDR has a strong understanding of the sales process and excels at deep-dive research, cold prospecting, initiating new relationships with strategic contacts, and setting up Sales Managers for success. The SDR should be a quick learner who has strong communication skills and an ability to showcase our solutions in a compelling way. We are growing rapidly, building a commercial company that delivers cutting edge technology and solutions to our customers from industrial applications to logistics and warehouse solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1-2 years of outbound sales experience in a technology environment, with a focus on strategic or cold prospecting, preferred
  • Technically savvy with demonstrated ability to learn and explain new technology
  • Thrive in a team-oriented environment
  • Curious and able to understand a wide range of industry applications

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Salesforce, Salesloft, Hubspot, or other platforms a plus

Responsibilities

  • Execute targeted, outbound prospecting campaigns (email and phone) to new potential prospects and engage with key contacts within identified strategic accounts
  • Research and map out target accounts and industries to identify high-potential prospects
  • Arrange and present introductory calls to qualify opportunities and share background of Boston Dynamics with prospects
  • Schedule on-site and virtual meetings for Sales Managers
  • Partner closely with Sales Managers to identify, prioritize, and engage with strategic accounts within key industries
  • Facilitate introductory demonstrations when required
  • Maintain pipeline of strategic prospects and maintain regular, proactive communication
  • Participate in customer-facing video and phone calls
  • Understand and be able to communicate the vision for Boston Dynamics robotics solutions
