Working on multiple projects at a time, you are focused on the details while finding creative ways to take on big picture challenges. As someone who knows the workings of the core Finance team inside and out, you'll lead individual projects to transform planning, tracking and control processes. You'll provide senior level management with insightful recommendations, planning and reporting support. In evaluating inorganic growth opportunities, the mergers and acquisitions (M&A) Finance team plays a pivotal role in shaping Google's future by leading financial models, valuation analyses, and insights for making sound business decisions. Working in close partnership with Corporate Development, Legal, Finance, Accounting and Tax teams to provide financial experience to help decision-makers assess the strengths and risks involved in a given investment or acquisition opportunity. The M&A Finance team for Other Bets is a critical function within Alphabet's finance organization, responsible for the financial oversight and execution of transactions across a portfolio of high-growth, companies. In this role, you will not only have a strong finance, valuation and accounting background, but you will also harness this knowledge to navigate financial issues to find creative solutions for our Other Bets portfolio. You will serve as the primary finance partner for corporate finance activities, including managing valuations, leading financial workstreams for multi-billion dollar divestitures, fundraises, and M&A investments while ensuring financial integrity and compliance. The name Google came from "googol," a mathematical term for the number 1 followed by 100 zeros. And nobody at Google loves big numbers like the Finance team when providing in depth analysis on all manner of strategic decisions across Google products. From developing forward-thinking analysis to generating management reports to scaling our automated financial processes, the Finance organization is an important partner and advisor to the business.
