Requirements

  • Minimum one year of experience entering asset data and extracting reports from automated inventory tracking systems.
  • One year of ServiceNow experience.
  • Five years relevant OT hardware or systems experience
  • Minimum one year of experience in performing physical inventories.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word and Adobe.
  • Reliable transportation, and ability to use POV to travel on-site.
  • Must have a Secret clearance with IT-II sensitivity
  • US Citizen

Nice To Haves

  • Experience including accounting work, Power query, Power BI a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of Operational Technology (OT) Asset Management (AM) framework in ServiceNOW to facilitate effective operational and asset management decisions. Ensure the framework is comprehensive and covers all aspects of OT asset discovery, identification, and inventory management across various functional pillars.
  • Continuously maintain and update the OT inventory database, employing best practices from IT asset management. This includes ensuring accurate records of assets as they are moved, replaced, or retired, and adding new items to the database as they are received, installed, or discovered.
  • Work closely with AM government staff, site audit teams, and other stakeholders to aggregate and verify OT asset data. Ensure coordination in the collection and refinement of data, including attending regular meetings focused on OT Asset Management.
  • Act as the central point for integrating data from future physical inventories and automated hardware data collection. Ensure that this data effectively supplements the AM database, providing a comprehensive view of assets.
  • Coordinate with AM data analysts to refine OT data captured, focusing on accurate asset identification and reconciliation. This includes ensuring that all data reflects current operational statuses and is in line with asset management policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure strict adherence to DLA’s OT internal controls, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Job Aids, and other auditable duties. Perform and document these duties diligently to maintain accountability, prevent audit findings, and support the integrity and security of OT systems.
  • Regularly engage with key stakeholders, including attending OT AM focused meetings to discuss updates, challenges, and strategies. Provide comprehensive reports on asset status, discrepancies, and system improvements to facilitate informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Identify and implement solutions to problematic areas of the asset control process.
  • Reconcile all balances regularly and submit accurate, auditable financial year-end inventory reports.
  • May require onsite travel using personal vehicle, company van, company golf cart or another motorized vehicle.
  • Must have valid state driver’s license and proof of insurance.
  • Ensure daily review of ServiceNow portal customer equipment requests, tasks and tickets are completed in a timely manner, in accordance with DLA Asset Management policies.
  • Provide daily customer and team support to facilitate both local and regional OT hardware requirements and requests.
  • Respond to email requests for information (RFI)s within 24 hours.
  • Draft correspondence and prepare site inventory reports, as required.
  • Ensure all digital hardware documentation is maintained in accordance with the National Archives & Records Administration (NARA) to preserve auditable records, including but not limited to: contracts, packing slips, bill of lading, transfer document, etc.
  • Attend weekly team meetings and bi-weekly regional operational meeting to ensure all requirements are addressed.
  • Ensure work area is kept clean and organized; ensure all site safety standards are maintained; maintain publicly acceptable personal hygiene levels.
