Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Science/IT/Computing or equivalent and 7-8 years' experience as a software engineer or a software support engineer.
  • Must have experience in Telco in the following areas; inventory, workflow , provisioning
  • Knowledge & Experience with Fiber
  • Practical experience with TMF
  • Need to have good background and hands on experience in creating user stories
  • Need to have excellent communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Extra points if have experience with AT&T

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define technical requirements and translate them into clear, actionable user stories.
  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups to align infrastructure work with product goals. Provide technical input during feature planning to ensure infrastructure readiness and scalability.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, operational procedures, and audit-related processes to support transparency and compliance.
  • Collaborate closely with software engineering teams (Development, Testing) to enhance CI/CD pipelines and streamline deployment workflows across environments.
  • Work cross-functionally with product, Architects, security, and operations teams to define system requirements and ensure infrastructure solutions meet business objectives.
  • Implement and enforce robust security practices, including access controls, vulnerability management, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Disaster recovery planning and execution, including backup strategies, failover testing, and incident response coordination.
  • Conduct system capacity planning and forecasting to support current and future business growth.
  • Provide Tier 2/3 support for complex system issues, driving root cause analysis, and implementing long-term corrective actions.
  • Evaluate, recommend, and integrate emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks to enhance system performance, reliability, and developer productivity.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation.
