About The Position

Join Hitachi Energy Transformers – Business Solutions IT Organization as an OSS On-Site Services Engineer at our Bland location. In this role, you’ll be the go-to expert for desk-side IT support, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional user experiences. You’ll troubleshoot issues, manage hardware logistics, and act as the face of IT for our local teams. Requirements

• Formal IT qualification or apprenticeship in information technology.
• Minimum 2 years of professional IT support experience.
• Fluent in English and local language with strong communication skills.
• Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with ability to work independently.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.; U.S. citizenship required.
• Familiarity with tools like ServiceNow, MS Office 365, Windows, iOS, and asset management systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot IT issues requiring physical intervention.
• Deliver ready-to-use computers to users.
• Provide ad-hoc training and guide users through self-service tools.
• Manage physical stock of devices and accessories, including CMDB updates.
• Perform regular inventory checks for hardware.
• Coordinate logistics for device shipping and movement.
• Handle warranty cases with OEM vendors.
• Support IT equipment and software in meeting rooms and collaboration areas.
