NOW HIRING AN OSP Engineer: Join us as an OSP Engineer and help design and build the networks that keep communities connected. We're hiring at multiple experience levels, from those early in their engineering careers to experienced professionals ready to take the lead. In this role, you'll contribute to or oversee the full scope of outside plant (OSP) engineering work. That includes analyzing and designing networks, planning and estimating projects, conducting field surveys, managing permits, coordinating construction, and ensuring quality throughout each phase. Projects may involve new builds, relocations, maintenance, and emergency restoration, giving you exposure to every part of OSP engineering. Requirements

  • Position level and responsibilities commensurate with experience:
  • Three (3) years of related OSP engineering or technical experience is preferred.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent GED is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required.

Nice To Haves

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct route analysis and site surveys for aerial and underground fiber projects.
  • Develop engineering specifications, construction drawings, and project documents using Mapcom M4, Bluebeam, Visio, and other tools.
  • Create project scopes, budgets, and schedules and ensure projects stay on track.
  • Oversee construction and maintenance activities on OSP infrastructure, ensuring compliance with company and industry standards.
  • Monitor project expenses and report on progress.
  • Respond to emergencies such as fiber damages, power failures, or other disruptions.
  • Perform routine inspections to maintain network integrity and functionality.
