Lumos is seeking a full-time OSP Construction Project Engineer, an experienced telecom construction professional ready to contribute to growth and recommend process changes for technology utilization and service maintenance. This role involves building relationships with communities and contractor partners to facilitate Outside Plant (OSP) Construction and installation of Lumos's network, which includes poles, aerial, buried, and underground fiber facilities. The position requires residing within commutable distance of the assigned market due to essential frequent onsite presence. OSP Construction Project Engineers are accountable for overseeing line-crews, splicers, and subcontractor crews, ensuring safe, on-time project completion within CAPEX budget parameters. Lumos is dedicated to delivering 100% Fiber Optic internet, having expanded significantly since the 2022 merger of Lumos Networks and North State, and further through a joint venture with T-Mobile (T-Fiber) as of April 1, 2025.
