OSP Construction Supervisor
About The Position
Daily Responsibilities Drive daily operational production Responsible for ensuring all subordinate organizations provide quality work on time and on budget Responsible for cross functional coordination to ensure build / schedule align with customer priorities Management of key performance metrics (KPI’s - Build production, Overage Job Management, Market Productivity, etc.) Maintain Daily Production Sheets / Reporting and ensure company databases are kept current and accurate with daily progress, photos, etc. Read & Interpret construction prints Manage customer escalations / roadblock mitigation Maintain safe working habits/conditions according to all regulations and policies Performs other duties as necessary
Requirements
- 5 years of direct supervisory management experience leading Wireline Outside Plant Construction Teams & proven production management
- 5 years of experience with Fiber to the Home (FTTH) Wireline Outside Plant Construction experience
- Demonstrated proficiency at placing Fiber Cable in the Right of Way (ROW)
- Demonstrated track record of building successful teams, effectively motivating people and maintaining effective relationships with clients, owners, and team members
- Self-Motivated with Strong attention to detail
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and other tools / applications as needed
- Demonstrated strong communication skills
- Enjoys managing a workforce daily (safety, quality, and production)
- Ability to think critically, anticipate opportunities for improvement, and forward thinking
