About The Position

ECS is seeking an OSINT Trainer to work in our Fairfax, VA office. ECS is seeking a Senior OSINT Trainer to join our Open Source Intelligence Solutions training team. The successful candidate will develop and deliver training programs for Department of War (DoW) organizations related to Commercially and Publicly Available Information datasets, investigative and analytical research methods, and industry tools collecting and presenting aggregated data. The trainer will instruct DoW, civilian, and contract analysts on techniques for open source data collection, analysis, and reporting. The trainer will collaborate with program managers of several DoW initiatives to carefully tailor and mature curriculum. The trainer will also be responsible for providing weekly activity summaries, administrative and coordination efforts for training courses, After Action Reports for training courses, and will assist with technical setup of training environments. The trainer will also support the vetting and integration of new tools. Familiarity with specific Open Source Intelligence tools is important. Periodic travel will be required to support in person training events. Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Bachelor's degree, six years of equivalent experience in an analytical and/or training environment, or a combination.
  • Experience as a trainer, analyst, or researcher in the security /defense sectors.
  • Experience and demonstrated success training security /defense audiences.
  • Experience with open source data and/or tools; experience with DoW tools is a strong asset for the candidate.
  • Must have interpersonal skills and show comfort leading an audience during training, while also showing flexibility to answer questions from users.
  • Must be diligent in time management.
