Requirements

Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, prescriptions, and patient assessments.
Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams.
Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory requirements in orthotics and prosthetics manufacturing.
Supervisor experience.

Responsibilities

Fabricate, assemble, and modify orthotic and prosthetic devices according to prescribed specifications and patient needs.
Measure and fit patients to ensure proper alignment, comfort, and functionality of devices.
Interpret technical drawings, prescriptions, and patient assessments to produce accurate devices.
Maintain detailed records of patient treatments, device specifications, and fabrication processes.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including orthotists, prosthetists, and physicians, to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Perform quality control checks on all devices to ensure safety, durability, and compliance with industry standards.
Stay current with advancements in materials, techniques, and industry regulations related to orthotics and prosthetics.
