About The Position

The new spine surgeon will see patients in an established office and surgery center in Phoenix, performing both orthopedic spine surgeries and interventional pain procedures. The full details of the position are negotiable and will be collaboratively decided between the practice and the physician.

Requirements

  • Arizona medical license
  • DEA
  • Board Certified or Eligible, Orthopedic Surgery
  • Fellowship, Spine Surgery
  • ability to do interventional pain procedures

Responsibilities

  • consult with patients to determine appropriate courses of treatment
  • perform necessary surgical procedures in the treatment of injuries or symptoms
  • perform interventional pain procedures in the treatment of injuries or symptoms
  • examine patients while ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests
  • obtain information on medical conditions to determine diagnosis
  • provide consultation and comprehensive management of patients
  • monitor patients’ conditions and progress
  • reevaluate patients’ conditions and progress as necessary
  • support appropriate referrals
