About The Position
Dane Street is seeking a Board-Certified Orthopedic Spine Surgeon licensed in Louisiana to join our dynamic team of expert clinical reviewers. In this role, you will use your specialized spine expertise to conduct thorough, evidence-based reviews of clinical cases. This is a telework opportunity that allows you to customize your schedule while working as a 1099 independent contractor. Your primary responsibilities will include reviewing medical records, preparing clear and concise clinical summaries, participating in peer-to-peer discussions as needed, and responding to specific questions related to orthopedic spine care and medical necessity. Requirements
- Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
- Fellowship training in Spine Surgery
- Current, unrestricted Louisiana medical license
- 5+ years of clinical practice experience in orthopedic spine surgery
- Ability to attend all required orientation and training sessions
- Maintains all required credentialing, licensure, and certifications necessary to perform the role
