About The Position

We are seeking an Orthopedic Physical Therapy Resident to: Attend and participate in didactic education designed to advance clinical reasoning and pattern recognition in orthopedic physical therapy. Challenge your own and fellow residents’ clinical decision making through constructive feedback in didactic units and case presentations. Form alliances with patients and their families with the common goal of optimizing function following acute and chronic episodes of pain and dysfunction as well as surgeries. Collaborate with other providers in coordinating patient and family care across multiple services. Serve as instructional assistant for the University of Wisconsin – Madison - Doctor of Physical Therapy orthopedic courses. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited, entry-level degree program (Baccalaureate or higher) in Physical Therapy is required.
  • Licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of Wisconsin is required.
  • Certification in Healthcare Provider Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Automatic External Defibrillator is required.
