About The Position

Overview We are seeking a Orthopedic Charge Registered Nurse (Days), sometimes referred to as a Charge RN or a Charge Med Surge RN at Riverview Regional Medical Center, a member of Prime Healthcare in Gadsden, AL. These Registered Nurses (RN) play an important role in our hospital by providing comprehensive care to renal patients who are recovering from surgery, managing acute and chronic illnesses, or undergoing diagnostic procedures. Med-surg nurses are considered the backbone of hospital nursing due to the variety and volume of patients they manage. Qualifications Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. Requirements

  • Current and valid state RN License
  • Current BLS upon hire and maintain current
  • Current ACLS 30 days upon of hire and maintain current
  • PALS within 30 days of hire for units that admit pediatric patients
