Orthopedic Physicians Alaska (OPA) seeks a highly skilled, dedicated and professional Orthopedic Technician to join their rapidly growing and dynamic team. Orthopedic technicians collaborate closely with physicians to apply and remove plaster and synthetic casts, as well as fabricate splints and semi-custom thermoplastic braces. They assist patients with mobility aids such as canes and crutches, ensuring proper fit and adjustment. Additionally, they educate patients on treatment risks following wound care, casting, splinting, or the use of durable medical equipment (DME). The mission of OrthoAlaska, Orthopedic Physicians Alaska division is to provide the finest orthopedic surgery and musculoskeletal care in North America through quality, patient-centered care. Each of their physicians and surgeons works in concert with a certified orthopedic surgical physician assistant and other staff to provide patients with an individualized care-team experience. Currently, they have offices in Anchorage, Wasilla, Eagle River, Soldotna, and Kodiak.
