Vista Medical Center is seeking an experienced and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Orthopedic Team . The ideal candidate will bring expertise in the evaluation, diagnosis, and management of musculoskeletal conditions, working closely with our orthopedic surgeons to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive clinical services, patient education, and procedural support within a collaborative healthcare environment.

  • Conduct patient assessments, including physical exams and diagnostic evaluations of musculoskeletal conditions.
  • Diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of orthopedic conditions.
  • Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons in developing and executing surgical and non-surgical treatment plans.
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as appropriate.
  • Assist in pre-operative and post-operative care, including patient education, monitoring recovery, and managing complications.
  • Provide follow-up care for orthopedic surgery patients, including rehabilitation planning and progress monitoring.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., x-rays, MRIs) and contribute to treatment recommendations.
  • Educate patients and families on treatment options, post-surgical care, and recovery expectations.
  • Partner with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Master's degree or higher from an accredited Physician Assistant Studies (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) program.
  • Current license to practice in the state of Illinois.
  • Strong clinical knowledge in orthopedic care and musculoskeletal health.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
