Requirements

  • Certified Dental Assistant Certificate required
  • Radiology License required to take x-rays
  • Good understanding of relevant health and safety regulations
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills, with a proven ability to build strong relationships and rapport with patients, parents, doctors, fellow team members and the community
  • Keen attention-to-detail and time management skills

Nice To Haves

  • Willing to train the right candidate, but orthodontic experience is preferred
  • Proficiency with orthodontic/dental management software systems is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients and treatment areas for orthodontic procedures
  • Take high-quality digital records and impressions (including intraoral scans)
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and care instructions
  • Keep our clinical area organized and sparkling
  • Support with various administrative tasks when needed
