About The Position

Waldman Orthodontics is seeking an organized, patient-focused Administrative Assistant to join our Beverly Hills practice. This position combines administrative responsibilities with occasional clinical support, based on practice needs. Dental Assistants interested in transitioning into an administrative role are encouraged to apply. We’re happy to train the right candidate. Requirements

  • At least two years related experience required OR minimum two years of experience in dentistry, preferably orthodontics.
  • Growth mindset and eager to learn
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills (verbal and written), with a proven ability to build strong relationships and rapport with patients, parents, doctors, fellow team members and the community.
  • Keen attention-to-detail and time management skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Radiology Certification (preferred), or willingness to obtain with practice support.
  • Proficiency with orthodontic management software systems is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and check in patients, fill open appointment slots, handle scheduling challenges with professionalism, and ensure a productive daily flow.
  • Welcome new patients, answer calls with care, and follow up on missed or emergency appointments.
  • Process payments, send records, manage mail, maintain organized files, and keep the reception area clean and inviting.
  • Monitor appointment confirmations, update patient statuses, and manage recall and retention systems to keep patients engaged and on track.
  • Support with sterilization and lab tasks
