About The Position

This position is directly responsible for building and maintaining Paragon Operating Room Management preference cards and the item master file with respect to implant and special order supplies. Clearly communicates changes and aids with education to appropriate personnel in regards to preference card supply charges and new supply items and participates with the OR’s physical inventory counts. Responsible for implementing and maintaining all supply chain activities within the OR. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology preferred
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize work in order to meet deadlines
• Able to work under pressure and in situations that demand patience, tact, stamina and endurance
• Previous experience as a surgical tech and OR materials management preferred
• Computer data entry experience necessary
