About The Position

Originations Analyst Phoenix, AZ – RRA Capital is doing something truly unique in the commercial real estate private equity and credit spaces. Led by CRE industry veterans who have a combined 115+ years of experience, we are rethinking traditional approaches to real estate private credit and how to achieve truly remarkable returns to investors. Our mission at RRA is to “build something awesome” with a client centric philosophy of service and an amazing team of innovative and driven professionals. As a member of the Originations Team, the Analyst will report directly to the Managing Director of Originations. The Analyst will serve as the initial screen for deals sourced from a subset of the pipeline. Leveraging the candidate’s existing commercial real estate knowledge and expanding it through a comprehensive training program, this position will serve as a springboard to a first-chair Originator position. The ideal candidate for this position will be highly motivated to grow both his/her sales and credit capabilities. Requirements

Two (2) years of commercial real estate experience at a mortgage broker or lender preferred
Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record
Experience with CRM systems (HubSpot, ideally)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and ability to learn new software
Strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills, and a penchant for research
Desire to work and live in Greater Phoenix, AZ area

Responsibilities

Evaluate initial loan submissions to determine whether they fit RRA lending criteria.
Interface with mortgage brokers and borrowers to obtain additional due diligence items, as necessary.
Submit preliminary analysis to and collaborate with Managing Director for determining whether to submit to Credit Committee.
Add new mortgage brokers to the database and maintain the accuracy of the existing database through effective use of CRM software, regular monitoring of LinkedIn and press releases.
Become an expert in CRM software and develop actionable dashboards for the team.
Develop and execute an outreach plan for mortgage brokers to keep RRA top-of-mind.
Meet with mortgage brokers to articulate RRA lending criteria.
