Northrop Grumman's Critical Skills Development team is seeking a facilitator to lead and deliver in-person program management training cohorts across the enterprise. This role will be integral in developing and delivering high-caliber training that translates complex program management concepts into actionable learning outcomes. The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator, a dynamic presenter, have a proven track record in facilitating, and have a solid understanding of Program Management fundamentals, all while managing a substantial travel schedule. This position can be performed virtually, but will require up to 50% travel to deliver training across our domestic locations.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated proficiency in project management fundamentals with the ability to clearly articulate key concepts
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering in-person training programs with a strong focus on engagement and practical application
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and relatable manner
  • Proven ability to work effectively in dynamic environments, managing multiple projects and travel requirements (up to 50% travel)
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, STEM, or a related field is required; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP) are highly desirable

Responsibilities

  • Deliver in-person program management training sessions to diverse cohorts, ensuring that learning objectives are met with clarity and impact.
  • Develop and adapt course materials and training content that resonate with both new and experienced program managers.
  • Utilize real-world examples and best practices to drive participant engagement and to facilitate open, insightful discussions.
  • Assess training effectiveness through participant feedback and performance evaluations, continuously refining content to match current industry standards.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and internal stakeholders to align training initiatives with organizational goals.
  • Manage travel and logistics associated with training sessions, ensuring seamless execution of on-site events.
