About The Position

At H.W. Kaufman Group, we are looking for motivated and analytical students to join our Organizational Development team for a high-impact summer internship where you will work on real projects that support and shape talent development, onboarding, leadership growth, and performance analytics. You will apply OD concepts to meaningful business challenges and help deliver programs that accelerate the growth of our producers and associates, while developing your own skills in the process. Our 12-week summer internship program aims to develop one’s business acumen, communication, and leadership skills through real world experience. This is a paid summer internship that provides additional opportunities for students to learn from and network with executive leadership and fellow interns in a range of departments. This student will be expected to work 40 hours per week, with four days spent in an office setting and one day remote.

Requirements

  • Enrolled as an undergraduate at an accredited university, actively pursuing a degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Risk Management & Insurance, Business Administration or a related field
  • Expected graduation: December 2026 or May 2027
  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach.
  • A proactive mindset and eagerness to learn.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous internship experience is preferred
  • Familiarity with HR or OD concepts and data tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting career progression initiatives for our production workforce.
  • Helping create business continuity plans to protect our books of business.
  • Upskilling our salesforce through corporate training programs and individualized learning resources.
  • Ensuring the success of corporate OD events in an all-hands-on-deck manner.
  • Refreshing and enhancing training and development materials with creative ideas and updated content.
  • Assisting senior leaders in high-level decision making by organizing data, preparing reports, and submitting analyses – together, we will build and maintain new performance dashboards, define new KPIs and metrics.
