About The Position

HelloFresh is looking for a creative, social-media-savvy Intern, Organic Social, to join our Brand Marketing team in New York. This isn't your average internship—you'll be right in the middle of the action, helping us engage with a community of over 5 million consumers across our portfolio of brands, including HelloFresh, Green Chef, EveryPlate, and Factor.
You will support our Organic Social team in establishing a best-in-class social presence. From spotting the latest TikTok trends to helping capture mouth-watering content in our photo studio, you’ll learn what it takes to manage a global brand's digital footprint in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Social Native: You live and breathe Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. You understand the nuances of each platform and what makes content go viral.
• Creative Eye: You have a knack for capturing aesthetically pleasing photo and video content on a smartphone.
• Innovative Thinking: You’re not afraid to pitch "out of the box" ideas, and you’re eager to learn how to turn those ideas into business outcomes.
• Analytical Curiosity: You’re interested in the "why" behind the numbers and are eager to learn how to use data to optimize social performance.
• Detail-Oriented: You understand that with millions of eyes on our work, the small details (captions, tags, emojis) matter.
• Communication: You’re a strong writer with a voice that is articulate, fun, and brand-aligned.
• Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Content Creation & Capturing: Assist with creating and capturing "social-first" content. This includes filming behind-the-scenes footage, creating memes, and editing trending video content (Reels/TikToks) using just your phone or basic editing tools.
• Trend Spotting: Stay glued to social media to identify emerging trends, sounds, and cultural moments that our brands can tap into to stay relevant and disruptive.
• Community Management: Work closely with our team to monitor our social channels, engage with our community, and maintain a consistent, high-energy brand voice across all platforms.
• Reporting & Social Listening: Help gather data on how our posts are performing. You’ll assist in tracking engagement metrics and using social listening tools to see what people are saying about our recipes and brands.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Support the team in briefing our in-house creative agency and coordinating assets for major brand campaigns.
• Project Support: Provide administrative and creative support for social aspects of campaign briefs, ensuring every detail is pitch-perfect before it goes live.
