About The Position

The Order Support Specialist will process orders received from the Sales Department. Job duties include entering customer orders, processing customer mailing lists, performing the proper quality checks, and data entry of customer responses. The incumbent will be responsible for reviewing work that needs to be processed each day and completing work to meet customer deadlines and internal metrics.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year customer service experience
  • Minimum of 1 year data entry experience
  • Moderate to advanced computer skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Customer service oriented
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Professional and friendly
  • Self-motivated
  • Ability to enter orders accurately and efficiently
  • Dependability
  • Organized and detailed
  • Ability to set and meet goals.
  • Proficient computer experience including Word, and Excel
  • This position will handle confidential data, and confidentiality must be maintained

Responsibilities

  • Process orders which include but are not limited to Increased Offertory orders, Parish Capital Campaigns and School annual funds
  • Develop and maintain a good relationship with Sales, Production, Design, other departments, and members of the management team
  • Coordinate work with other members of the Order Support Team
  • Use Advantage and Filemaker to review and enter orders efficiently and accurately
  • Produce reports for our customers as well as others within our organization
  • Ability to take ownership of work to meet all customer deadlines
  • Verify orders are processed in defined metrics to maintain a high level of customer service
  • Verify questions or concerns with internal and external customers are resolved in a timely manner and follow up is complete
  • Check quality of work to verify changes are correct for first time run rate and customer satisfaction
  • Practice flexible capacity for each operation through cross-training
  • Look for ways to continue to streamline and improve processes
  • Frequent use of Microsoft Excel, moderate to advanced knowledge is preferred
  • Other duties as assigned
