About The Position

This position supports our warehouse operations by picking orders to be shipped in an accurate and timely manner.

Requirements

  • Willing to work overtime as needed and as required.
  • Effectively communicate and interact with all Team Members within the plant.
  • Ability to maintain acceptable standards of conduct.
  • Ability to verbally communicate proficiently in English to effectively engage with internal teams. Applicant must be proficient in reading and understanding English-language manuals, equipment, instructions, and other documents relevant to the role.
  • Ability to safely load, unload, move, and stack materials using a forklift
  • Prior forklift operating experience required.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisors and/or management.
  • Lift up to 30 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Standing for long periods of time with the ability to quickly move on and off a walkie rider
  • Repetitive motion and fast paced movement
  • Continual use of hands and feet to handle, control or feel objects/gears

Responsibilities

  • Accurately and efficiently pick inventory from specified locations in the warehouse by going to pick bin on ticket, verify product matches the description on pick ticket.
  • Scans product/bin barcode with the hand-held device to ensure the item is picked in our system.
  • Inspect products for defects and/or damage.
  • Shrink wraps pallets by using shrink wrapping machine.
  • Ensures all paperwork sent with the package is associated with the shipment.
  • Takes the product back to shipping staging area by operating an electric pallet jack (walkie rider) and/or forklift.
  • Assist in the arrangement of stock in warehouse and the delivery of items to appropriate departments and/or locations.
  • Ensure proper code date/lot code rotation by using FIFO.
  • Correctly record lot numbers, date codes and other product information required for shipments.
  • Be self-managed and lead others by example in compliance with company policies.
  • Great attention to detail and able to make changes quickly.
  • Maintain a tidy working environment by keeping warehouse clean and organized daily.
  • Check equipment to ensure that it meets health and safety regulations.
  • Ability to read and understand pick tickets and orders.
  • Ability to work quickly in a very fast paced environment.
  • Regular and timely attendance is required for this job.
