About The Position

Wisconsin Public Service, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, a fortune 500 company, is seeking an Order Picker in our Green Bay, Wisconsin location. The Order Picker is responsible for warehouse activities within a distribution center and includes picking, packaging, shipping materials, and a daily messenger run, on a rotating monthly schedule. This position offers a variety of work that will appeal to those that are interested in learning, problem solving, able to work within a team environment, and are willing to take initiative.

Requirements

High School Diploma, HSED or GED
Valid driver's license
Experience using a personal computer
Must be able to obtain a valid Company forklift operator’s license
Stores Aptitude (STRS): Ability to understand mechanic concepts; ability to visualize forms in space; ability to compare details and identify whether the same or different.

Nice To Haves

Forklift experience
Warehouse experience/Understanding of warehouse operations and familiarity with quality and inventory control requirements are desirable

Responsibilities

Fulfill Company orders for materials as directed by Management and/or employees responsible for work distribution
Physically picks inventory from designated storage locations and restocks material to ensure accurate and timely delivery of warehouse products
Ensure clean and orderly warehouse premises
Review and complete all necessary paperwork accurately
Utilize the inventory system to perform all essential functions
Ensure all work procedures and safety practices are followed
Complete all necessary system transactions
Operate material handling equipment and ensure safety regulations are followed
Delivery of mail and packages to local company buildings, post office, and other locations
