Requirements
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Forklift Driver Certification
The employee must maintain a clean and safe work area using all safety equipment, safety glasses with side shields, steel-toed safety shoes, guards, report all safety violations, and report any accidents, injuries immediately.
Performing all job functions in a safe and responsible manner adhering to all safety rules and instructions.
Weight belts are required for this job.
Operator must understand the importance of internal and external working relationships and communication.
The relations between Departmental Supervisor, Managers, Engineering, Corporate, and all employees on and/or between shifts are very important.
