About The Position

Trane Technologies, a global leader in creating comfortable, sustainable, and efficient climate solutions for buildings, homes, and transportation, is seeking an Order Management Representative. The company emphasizes its mission to prioritize the planet, with sustainability being central to its business operations through brands like Trane® and Thermo King. This role is for a skilled problem solver to join the HVAC business team, focusing on customer service. The successful candidate will address customer service-related issues and provide solutions to Commercial Sales Offices. This is an on-site position requiring 5 days of work per week.

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree required
  • 3-5 years of experience in customer service, inside and/or outside sales, preferably in an industrial environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Must have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Must show the ability to handle difficult situations while remaining professional and courteous
  • Must demonstrate the ability to build strategic relationships across functions of an organization
  • Must exhibit the ability to identify process improvement opportunities and take initiative to implement them
  • Must actively seek and apply new knowledge, assimilate information quickly, and contribute to a culture of learning

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with Commercial Sales Offices nationwide
  • Process released customer orders in Kodiak and MDP
  • Work with Engineering to ensure MDP spec file data is accurate
  • Answer incoming tickets from Sales Offices regarding order changes, order expedites, product returns, and other general inquiries
  • Research and resolve any customer issues
  • Attend production meetings and represent customer voice
  • Work cross-functionally with sales offices, product management, production, logistics, and shipping to meet customer requirements
  • Proactively keep current on product knowledge and customer service standard work
  • Use problem solving skills to improve processes
