Requirements

  • Positive attitude
  • Requires good communication skills (verbal and written), attention to detail, organization, good customer service skills and an ability to work in a challenging, fast-paced environment
  • Computer skills (word processing, spreadsheet, database, E-mail)
  • Knowledge of basic accounting recommended
  • College and/or industry related experience recommended

Responsibilities

  • 100% Operational Process Standard Compliance
  • Origin relationship building and CCC (clear – concise - communication)
  • Provide reports on freight status and other functions related to freight movement
  • Keep all interested parties at origin and destination informed of potential or real problems
  • Best in Class Customer Service
  • Training Goals met in PDC
  • Positive Attitude
  • Focus on Knowledge of Process and Customer Expectations/KPI’s
  • Continue to look ahead of customer needs
  • Daily Exception Monitoring of all Business Needs
  • Escalation, when necessary, with any and all questions
  • Efficiency Gains
  • Serve as a liaison between EI team and Customer (Logistics resource)
  • Know where to send a customer for answers to international shipping questions
  • Exceed Customer Expectations
