Primary Location: United States (US) - Iowa - Ankeny Function: Factory Engineering (CA) Title: Order Fulfilment Process Weld Manufacturing Engineer - 118255 Onsite/Remote:Onsite Position Your Responsibilities As an Order Fulfilment Process Weld Manufacturing Engineer for JD Des Moines Works located in Ankeny, IA, you will: Plans, coordinates, and performs manufacturing engineering work for a project or process Operates in a team environment within either the enterprise product delivery process or the enterprise order fulfillment process At this level, projects are of limited scope and responsibility work plans and decisions are made within established guidelines and may be reviewed by supervisors and/or managers May assign coordinate and review portions of the work for support personnel and contractors VISA Sponsorship is NOT available for this position

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing/materials processes and process improvement
  • Ability to analyze technical information and support process design and feasibility testing
  • Understanding engineering standards, specifications, and quality inspections
  • Ability to identify issues and recommend corrective actions under guidance
  • Experience coordinating with suppliers/subcontractors and supporting contract activities
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to travel up to 25% and support off- shift schedules based on business needs

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with welding processes
  • Knowledge of basic robot programing
  • Ability to identify process gaps and support improvements using change management practices
  • Familiarity with knowledge management systems and ability to support team adoption
  • Exposure to product development and engineering activities, including analyzing customer needs
  • Experience working within project management plans to support delivery of goals
