About The Position

Blend Supply is expanding, providing opportunities for career growth and learning new skills. Blend Supply is a full-service distributor of coatings, tools and refinish supplies with deep industry expertise serving the aerospace, industrial, marine and military markets. Our comprehensive team provides customer service and on-site technical assistance. Blend Supply offers next day shipping options for most of the country from our many distribution centers across the U.S. This role ensures all safety, quality, production, inventory management, receiving, paint matching and mixing, shipping standards, and operational goals are attained with the proper efficiency and urgency. This facility is a mixing and matching center for our Aviation and Industrial Coatings.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent. Associates Degree a plus.
Experience in industry distribution.
Safety and Security - Observes safety and security procedures; Determines appropriate action beyond guidelines; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Uses equipment and materials properly.
Planning/Organizing - Prioritizes and plans work activities; Uses time efficiently; Plans for additional resources; Sets goals and objectives; Develops realistic action plans.
Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions; Uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics.
Must be able to see and perceive color, including when matching coating samples.
Mathematical and analytical skills.
Positive, productive and motivating attitude.

Nice To Haves

ERP experience and knowledge preferred.
Transportation Management System, TMS, experience.
Strong communication, interpersonal and motivational skills.
Knowledge of ISO standards preferred.
Knowledge of CFR 49 preferred.

Responsibilities

Pick, Package and Ship all orders according to Blend Supply Standards.
Receiving all incoming shipments.
Cycle count stock daily.
Mix paint batches based on standards and formulas from Manufacturers.
Follow AS9100d Guidelines and all Federal Regulations.
Ensure safety, productivity, and quality in all distribution operations.
Ensure warehouse always stays neat and organized.
Work with lead, manager and quality assurance for prioritization and objectives.
Ensure that work is performed consistently with Blend Supply policies and procedures.
