What You’ll Do Serve as the customer’s primary contact for pricing, availability, shipping, quotations, orders, returns, and credits. Coordinate seamlessly with Sales, Credit, Inventory Control, Warehousing, and the Fabrication Shop. Optimize shipments to reduce cost while meeting delivery timelines. Investigate and resolve order entry, shipping, and billing issues—own the outcome. Use technical understanding of products/services to streamline order flow. Drive incremental revenue via promotions and add-on suggestions at order placement. Maintain timely follow-up and keep customers informed on request status. Build strong service relationships with customers and suppliers. Complete assigned training and demonstrate competence per management expectations. Perform other duties as assigned. What You’ll Bring Clear, professional communication—written and verbal. 1+ year in customer service or sales. Computer savvy; JDE and HydraList preferred. Microsoft Windows and Office familiarity is a plus. Experience multitasking under time constraints (1+ year). Strong arithmetic skills (whole numbers, fractions, decimals, measurements). Blueprint and/or measurement reading skills preferred.
