About The Position

The Order Entry Representative serves as the first point of contact for customers placing orders. This role involves handling a high volume of quick calls and emails daily, primarily in a business-to-business context. The representative will resolve customer questions and issues, manage customer service inquiries, and process all orders over the phone while building rapport with customers.

Requirements

  • Experience with order entry and processing.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent multitasking abilities.
  • Great personality with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for customers placing orders.
  • Handle a high volume of quick calls and emails, up to 80+ daily.
  • Manage customer interactions primarily in a business-to-business setting.
  • Resolve customer questions and issues effectively.
  • Process and manage all orders over the phone.
  • Build and maintain rapport with customers during interactions.
  • Work off a queue from a central number that customers call into.
  • Handle increased call volume during peak seasons, reaching 90-100 calls daily.
