About The Position
Job description: We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Orbital Welder to join CHA Industries, the company that invented the Mark 50 and Planetary Fixturing!
Requirements
- Proficiency using orbital weld systems (e.g., AMI, Swagelok, or equivalent).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Working knowledge of cleanroom operations or contamination control best practices.
- Ability to lift more than 20 lbs.
- Must be able to stand for long hours
- High school diploma or GED required; welding or technical certification preferred
- Openness to learning
Nice To Haves
- Industry-specific knowledge and experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Perform high-purity orbital welding of stainless-steel tubing and components in a cleanroom setting.
- Set up, operate, and maintain orbital welding equipment, including power supplies and weld heads.
- Prepare tubing and fittings by cutting, facing, deburring, and cleaning to meet specifications.
- Assurance of clean equipment and checking task execution for possible errors.
- Participate in process improvement efforts and team collaboration.
- Perform additional duties as required to meet project timelines and client needs.
