About The Position

Oral Surgery Assistant within a stand alone Oral Surgery office in the South Hill area of Spokane, WA. This position will evolve into a two location position that will include an additional Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery office in Hayden, ID. Oral Surgery Assistant experience preferred but not necessary for the individual who is motivated to learn the detailed skills for becoming an Oral Surgery Assistant. DAANCE certification is encouraged but not required. We require an individual who participates very well in the TEAM setting. Requirements

  • Certified Dental Anesthesia Assistant in both Washington and Idaho (Required)
  • Strong understanding of anesthesia safety, surgical protocols, and instrument handling
  • Professionalism, reliability, and the ability to adapt in a mobile, fast-paced setting
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with both patients and colleagues
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel reliably between practice locations

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum 2 years experience in an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery setting (Preferred)
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a significant plus

Responsibilities

  • Assist during complex oral surgery procedures with confidence and precision
  • Ensure surgical suites are prepared, sterile, and ready for safe patient care
  • Provide support with anesthesia monitoring and patient management
  • Deliver clear pre- and post-op instructions with compassion and clarity
  • Travel regularly between Hayden, ID and Spokane, WA to support patient care across locations
  • Maintain thorough and accurate surgical and patient records
