About The Position

Seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Cloud Payroll & Absence Management Consultant to support the Payroll Department during the implementation of Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM. This role will focus on configuring, testing, and deploying Payroll and Absence Management modules, ensuring alignment with business and compliance needs for a successful go-live. The consultant will collaborate closely with Payroll, HR, IT, and implementation partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, HR, Business, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll and Absence Management modules.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processing, taxation, compliance, fast formulas, costing, and absence accruals.
• Experience with integrations, time/labor, HCM Extracts, and data validation/testing.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Oracle Cloud HCM Certification (Payroll and Absence Management).
• Prior experience supporting a Payroll department through an HCM transition or upgrade.
• Proficiency in Oracle reporting tools (OTBI, BI Publisher).
• Experience in a full lifecycle Oracle Cloud HCM implementation.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document payroll and absence management requirements.
• Configure and test Payroll and Absence Management modules (elements, balances, fast formulas, absence plans, accruals).
• Support data conversion, migration, reconciliation, and integrations with third-party systems.
• Develop reports and analytics using OTBI, BI Publisher, and HCM Extracts.
• Assist with testing cycles (unit, SIT, UAT, parallel runs), defect resolution, and troubleshooting.
• Provide knowledge transfer, training, end-user support, and documentation.
• Recommend process improvements and provide post-go-live support.
