About The Position

Oracle Developer OASYS, INC., a Leading-Edge Government contractor in Huntsville Alabama, is seeking applicants for a Oracle Developer to support our Army customer on Redstone Arsenal. Job Responsibilities include: The Oracle Developer will d esign databases that meet organizational needs using conceptual, logical, and physical data models. Identify and apply configuration changes to applications so that they meet documented business process requirements. Provide technical design to business solutions and test modules. Provide technical direction to other developers. Create, execute, and document the tests necessary to ensure that an application or technical environment meets functional specifications and performance requirements. Diagnose, resolve, and document system issues to support project team. Research questions with respect to both maintenance and development activities. Interact with database administrators, security analysts and business system users in this effort.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience of design and architectural planning
  • 12 total years of experience and the 12 years can be any type of paid experience
  • Weblogic (an Oracle related tool) version 12c
  • Oracle version 12c-19c
  • Familiar with SQL commands for each of the following: DDL - Data Definition Language CREATE, DROP, ALTER, TRUNCATE, COMMENT, RENAME, etc... DQl - Data Query Language Simple SELECT statements Aggregated SELECT statements Corralated Subqueries DML - Data Manipulation Language DCL - Data Control Language GRANT, REVOKE, etc...
  • Write and debug PLSQL processes... Functions Procedures Packages Triggers
  • Familiar with SQLPlus and or SQL Developer
  • Familiar with spreadsheets, repositories, deployment software, etc... (Jira, Git Bash, Bit Bucket, Fortify, Microsoft Excel)
  • Candidates must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • An Active Secret Clearance is highly desired.
