As a database administrator, you know how to manage and secure database technology. At Booz Allen, you can use those skills to improve the database technology supporting Navy hybrid solutions. On our team, you'll administer, test, and implement computer databases, which may include coordinating computer database changes, implementing security measures to safeguard computer databases, and maintaining databases within an application area. You'll provide your client with peace of mind as you implement policies and procedures to ensure the security and integrity of the database. With your technical expertise, mentoring, and opportunities to learn new tools and skills, we'll focus on growing as a team to make the best solutions for our customers. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience installing, configuring, upgrading, and patching Oracle Products, such as Oracle Fusion Middleware and Oracle Database, Oracle Multitenant, Oracle Enterprise Manager, Oracle HTTP Server, and Oracle Identity Management
  • Experience administering Oracle Products, including activities such as implementing security measures and applying STIGs, data backup, restoration, export, cloning, and management of users, storage, listeners, parameter tuning, and memory management
  • Experience with deployments and deployment plans, servers, certificates, and encryption keys, and configuring all dependent files for WebLogic Server
  • Ability to provide support for complex issues, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis on Oracle products
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Ability to obtain CompTIA Security+ or CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP) Certification within 90 days of start date

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with AWS services, including EC2, RDS, or S3, and navigating AWS Management Console
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional Certification
