OR/Pain Management RN or LPN- PRN
About The Position
RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for the nature and quality of care patients receive during surgical intervention and pain management procedures. Nursing intervention that assists the surgical patient in a conscious and unconscious state. Continuity of care through pre-op assessment, planning, intra-operative intervention, and post-op evaluation. Assists pain specialist with scheduling patients, rooming patients, prepping charts, taking patient's vital signs and medical history. HOURS : PRN, Monday-Friday QUALIFICATIONS: RN or LPN - Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing and must be licensed or eligible in the state of Iowa. Must have excellent computer skills. Operating room experience preferred. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Must have good visual and auditory abilities. Must be able to stand and bend for extended periods. Must be able to read and handle frequent interruptions.
