About The Position

As an RN or LPN in our Pain Management department, you will work with patients managing both chronic and acute pain, supporting providers with in-office procedures and injections. Requirements

  • Current Illinois RN or LPN license required
  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience preferred
  • BLS certification required (training available upon hire)
  • Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and procedural skill
  • Extraordinary attention to detail and precision in patient care
  • Excellent communication and patient education skills
  • Ability to work confidently in a fast-paced, procedure-heavy environment
  • Compassion for patients managing chronic or acute pain

Responsibilities

  • Assist providers with in-clinic procedures, including injections, nerve blocks, and other pain interventions, ensuring precision and patient safety.
  • Provide thorough patient education on treatment plans, medications, and lifestyle strategies to help patients manage pain effectively.
  • Coordinate care across departments and external providers to maintain seamless treatment plans.
  • Monitor patients closely for changes in condition, documenting findings accurately and reporting to providers in a timely manner.
  • Maintain meticulous and compliant patient records, following all protocols.
  • Apply critical thinking and independent judgment in supporting patient care and troubleshooting clinical challenges.
