RN/LPN - Pain Management

As an RN or LPN in our Pain Management department, you will work with patients managing both chronic and acute pain, supporting providers with in-office procedures and injections. Requirements
- Current Illinois RN or LPN license required
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience preferred
- BLS certification required (training available upon hire)
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and procedural skill
- Extraordinary attention to detail and precision in patient care
- Excellent communication and patient education skills
- Ability to work confidently in a fast-paced, procedure-heavy environment
- Compassion for patients managing chronic or acute pain
Responsibilities
- Assist providers with in-clinic procedures, including injections, nerve blocks, and other pain interventions, ensuring precision and patient safety.
- Provide thorough patient education on treatment plans, medications, and lifestyle strategies to help patients manage pain effectively.
- Coordinate care across departments and external providers to maintain seamless treatment plans.
- Monitor patients closely for changes in condition, documenting findings accurately and reporting to providers in a timely manner.
- Maintain meticulous and compliant patient records, following all protocols.
- Apply critical thinking and independent judgment in supporting patient care and troubleshooting clinical challenges.
