Opportunity Overview We have an immediate opening for an OR/PACU Medical Assistant to join our team at Shady Grove Fertility in Greenwood Village, Colorado.  Schedule: Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends and holidays as needed, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Mountain Time Compensation: $21 to $24 per hour (commensurate with experience) Application Deadline: Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until the position is filled. Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Completion of a formal medical assistant or scrub tech program or 3 years of experience
  • Current BLS certification
  • Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer
  • Knowledge of office procedure and office machines (i.e. computer, fax, copier, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate good judgement on a consistent basis
  • Ability to communicate accurately and concisely
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to function as a team player

Responsibilities

  • Assist as scrub technician in the OR
  • Utilize proper sterile and aseptic technique and setup equipment
  • Plan for and prepare rooms for all procedures
  • Utilize the autoclave and clean per protocol
  • Provide assistance to the physician during procedures
  • Comfort patients by anticipating anxieties, answering questions and providing support
