Requirements

HS Diploma required
AHA BLS required
Experienced OR Tech

Responsibilities

Assist the surgical team during procedures
Prepare and maintain the sterile field
Ensure equipment and instruments are ready and available
Support safe, efficient patient flow in the OR
Collaborate closely with nurses, surgeons, and anesthesia
Cleans and maintains all anesthesia & operating room equipment to ensure proper functioning
Demonstrates proper use of equipment and supplies according to established procedures
Collaborate with materials management to ensure adequate and appropriate anesthesia and operating room supplies are available at all times
Assist nursing staff in the rooms as needed and directed (i.e. turning, moving anesthetized patients, holding of extremities for surgical prep, gathering of equipment, etc.)
