OR Assistant (Per Diem, Variable)

Requirements
- Basic computer skills
- Demonstrated understanding of aseptic technique
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Nice To Haves
- One (1) year of patient care and/or operating room experience in an accredited hospital preferred
Responsibilities
- Obtain supplies required for case carts and sub-sterile areas
- responsible for cleanliness and safety of environment for all those within it
- transport specimens, cultures and medications within the hospital
- Work with team to provide smooth workflow in peri-operative setting
- work as a team to accomplish room turnover
- Assist in the transporting and positioning of patients as directed
