The practice offers comprehensive eye health and vision exams, ocular disease treatment and management, dry eye treatment including punctal plugs and Demodex treatment, specialty contact lenses, and surgical co-management. To help support practice growth and continue to offer its legacy service, Del Family Eyecare is looking to add an Optometrist to the team of 15 employees. As a well-round medical optometry practice, Del Family Eyecare is at the forefront of advanced optometric products and the industry's latest technology. Fully suited with top-of-the-line optical equipment, the practice utilizes electroretinography, optical coherence tomography, Optos, visual evoked potential, topography, and endothelial cell count. In addition, patients enjoy a family-friendly shopping experience as they browse a wide selection of optical frames and sunglasses from the optical boutique—plus personalized customer support from the Opticians who help patients select the proper frames to fit their budget, lifestyle, and vision needs. About the Optometrist Opening Del Family Eyecare is seeking an Optometrist dedicated to serving patients and providing the highest level of patient-centric care. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to perform full-scope optometry and care for a variety of patients and conditions. You'll be supported by a full staff of Optometric Technicians and Opticians, enabling you to spend quality time with patients to determine an ongoing care plan. Approximately two to three comprehensive exams are scheduled per hour, with additional office visits scheduled intermittently. The Del Family Eyecare is open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday—the practice is open the number of hours the Optometrist wishes to work. At the moment we are seeking a part time Optometrist, with an opportunity to grow into Full Time. The days and hours can be discussed. The practice is looking for a friendly team player with a solid work ethic and adept at working in a clinical setting. A candidate who is bilingual or experienced in additional ocular specialties will be an asset to the team.
