About The Position

Dr. Fitzgerald and Associates, a thriving Cedar Rapids practice, is seeking a passionate optometrist to join its team as early as July. This full-time or part-time role provides flexible scheduling with shared evening and Saturday shifts. A strong interest in neuro-optometry or sports vision is a significant advantage. From comprehensive eye exams to diagnosing and managing ocular diseases like glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy, you’ll play a key role in supporting lifelong vision health. You’ll utilize cutting-edge technology, including Optomap, OCT, Retinal camera, Humphreys VF, Topography, RightEye, Cognivue, HRV, and several other sports vision performance technologies to provide accurate diagnoses and personalized care. You’ll also provide corrective lenses, educate patients, and document visits in EHR. This position offers a flexible schedule with evening and Saturday shifts shared among the team, all within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.
