Established in 1988, Boboth Vision Clinic is committed to providing personalized eye care to the communities of the Lower Yakima Valley. Combining cutting-edge technology and a caring team of professionals, the practice offers comprehensive routine eye care and services for medical optometric care such as diabetes, glaucoma, foreign bodies, and surgical co-management. The business's current goals are expanding eye care services and implementing same-day glasses. Additionally, to continue serving a growing population, the practice is looking to add an Optometrist to the team of 15 employees. This tech-forward practice uses state-of-the-art vision care technology to diagnose and treat a wide array of eye diseases. The practice is well-appointed with automated optical equipment and behind-the-scenes functional technology, including Optos, Cirrus OCT, Humphrey Visual Field, iCare tonometry, Autorefraction (stationary and handheld), and Pachymetry. Patients enjoy a family-friendly experience as they shop the latest styles of eyewear from the optical boutique—plus, the optometric professionals work closely with the patients to select proper lens options, lifestyle, and vision needs. Boboth Vision Clinic is seeking an Optometrist passionate about providing the highest level of patient-centric care, ensuring optimal eye health. In this role, you'll perform routine and medical eye exams, recommend vision-enhancing solutions, and promote good eye health through patient education—on average, each doctor cares for 20 patients per day. You'll be expected to learn best practices in coding patient exams and testing. Working closely with staff members and attending weekly team meetings are essential to this role. The position is full-time, 40 hours weekly (9 hours Mon-Thurs, 5 hours on Fri with very few on call hours and no weekends!) or part-time if you are looking for a slower paced schedule! The practice is looking for an energetic professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment while extending kindness and expertise during all interactions. Someone who can conduct exams in Spanish will be an asset to the team. This is a unique opportunity to work with special populations and care for various patients and conditions.
