Hours: Minimum 40 Hours/Week Role: - Design, develop, and deploy advanced optical test fixtures and stations involving projectors, cameras (e.g. colorimeter), motorized stages, and various optical elements (lenses, diffractive gratings, mirrors, waveguides). - Develop and integrate custom test fixtures and automation solutions for display and optical systems. - Bring up, validate, and troubleshoot optical test systems and automation hardware/software. - Collaborate with internal and external teams to design and manufacture custom optical test fixtures. - Perform optical metrology, characterization, and data analysis to support product development and manufacturing. - Manage calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of metrology tooling. - Coordinate sample allocation and shipping related to test fixtures and metrology tools. Skills: Strong background in Opto-Mechanical Engineering with experience designing precision components and assemblies. Advanced proficiency in Siemens NX for part modeling, assemblies, and detailed drawings. Solid command of GD&T with the ability to apply and interpret tolerances effectively. Hands-on experience with tolerance analysis and stack-up analysis. Strong understanding of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles. Experience creating and maintaining production-ready engineering drawings. Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with optical, electrical, and manufacturing teams. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with AR/VR display systems and optical module testing. Education: BSCSE or related. Requirements

Strong background in Opto-Mechanical Engineering with experience designing precision components and assemblies.
Advanced proficiency in Siemens NX for part modeling, assemblies, and detailed drawings.
