About The Position

The Manager, Optimization & Strategy works as a Subject Matter Expert and Manager / Leader on major, large-scale projects, initiatives, and / or teams to link the business, senior leadership, and technology teams on operations, process redesign / improvement, process management, quality assurance and control, business model optimization, strategic planning, new market entry, analytics, organizational design, resource management, new systems, and enhancements of existing systems or new systems. The role will analyze complex business processes, strategies, and operations to formulate technical and strategic guidance concerning the business implications of various processes, technologies, applications, business models, business strategies, and / or systems within SBS to be in alignment with business initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Operations Management, Operations Research, Business Analytics, Data Analytics

  • 3 years of relevant work experience (in addition to education requirement).

Responsibilities

  • Conduct studies of operations, processes and procedures, systems, business models, and strategies to reduce costs, increase revenue, improve customer experience, minimize complexity, optimize operations, and to improve risk management and controls
  • Design and/or optimize production schedules, process and system specifications, process flows, quality assurance and control measures, and resource management to maximize efficiency and effectiveness through the application of methodologies such as lean manufacturing and six sigma
  • Author, manage, and deliver executive level reporting including weekly, monthly, quarterly status reports to manage risks and issues and improve transparency and visibility
  • Develop and utilize technical and management frameworks to help structure stakeholder thinking and build consensus among cross-functional teams and influence decision making
  • Asses and develop potential strategic partnerships from technology and go-to-market perspective to create business value
  • Lead day to day operations and deliver on strategic and operational plans in alignment with the strategic vision for organization
  • Establish an operating rhythm of the business to ensure the organization is running effectively and efficiently to meet goals and objectives
  • Lead creation, identification, and insights of metrics to improve business performance and drive business actions
  • Develop and track key KPIs across the team to track strategic goals, milestones, and accomplishments
  • Take complete ownership of projects/ programs from cradle to grave: business case, scope, cost, schedule, action cycles, risks, issues, decisions, interdependencies and milestones
  • Develop, manage, analyze and review organizational budgets, measure & track ROI, and reconcile and explain discrepancies
