The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission’s Division of Habitat and Species Conservation is comprised of six sections and two offices. This position is in the Wildlife and Habitat Management Section. The FWC’s South Region has an exciting opportunity for a Staff Assistant to join a team of biologists and technicians in Palm Beach County, FL. This position provides administrative, secretarial, and clerical support to Wildlife and Habitat Management staff in the North District. This District includes the following areas: J.W Corbett WMA, Allapattah Flats WMA, John C. and Marianna Jones Hungryland WEA, John G. and Susan H. Dupuis, Jr. WEA, and the Kissimmee Bend and Okeechobee Units of the Everglades Headwaters WMA. The North District also coordinates management of the waterfowl hunting program on Stormwater Treatment Area 1W and the C-44 Reservoir and Stormwater Treatment Area.
