About The Position

The University of Florida is seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented OPS Research Coordinator to support ongoing clinical and health services research activities. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare‑related field.
  • At least one year of research experience.
  • Experience as a research coordinator and a record of publications are preferred.

  • Have prior research experience, including: IRB coordination, Conducting informed consent, Data collection and management, Manuscript preparation
  • Be familiar with research tools such as RedCap, Qualtrics, and simulated EHR systems.
  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Interact professionally with healthcare providers, research staff, and patient communities.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate day‑to‑day research activities across one or more studies.
  • Assist with IRB submissions, continuing reviews, and regulatory documentation.
  • Recruit, screen, and consent study participants in clinical settings.
  • Collect, manage, and maintain study data using approved research software and secure systems.
  • Support study team members with literature reviews, protocol development, and manuscript preparation.
  • Communicate effectively with investigators, clinical partners, and participants to ensure smooth study operations.
  • Maintain compliance with UF, state, and federal research policies.
